2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with academic clients to drive repeat article acquisitions.

3. Consultative Selling: Advise clients on selecting the most suitable Ready-to-Publish packages, tailoring recommendations to their discipline and journal targets.

4. Pipeline Management: Track inquiries, follow up on proposals and close deals, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

5. Market Intelligence: Provide feedback on competitor offerings, client requirements and emerging trends to shape ScholarCraft’s service development.

6. Reporting: Update ScholarCraft’s portal with acquisition data, client interactions and commission statements.

4. Academic Familiarity: Understanding of scholarly publishing workflows and journal submission processes.

5. Self-Motivation: Goal-oriented, able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Assessment & Remuneration

1. Commission Structure: Counsellors earn a negotiated percentage of each article’s fees, typically aligned with industry norms of 5-20% of revenue, depending upon the situation.

2. Tiered Incentives: Higher commission rates may apply once predefined acquisition thresholds are met, encouraging over-performance.

3. Payout Timing: Commissions are disbursed only after the client’s article is formally accepted and paid by the journal or publisher.

4. Additional Reward: Upon securing 10 articles within any six-month (two-quarter) period, counsellors receive one Ready-to-Publish review article free of charge.

Registration & Certification

1. Prospective counsellors must register with a valid government ID proof (Passport, National ID or Driver’s License) and bank account details for commission payments.

2. Upon on-boarding, each counsellor is issued an official ScholarCraft Counsellor Certificate recognizing their role and contributions.
